Authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, and application security testing are all examples of application security features. Developers can also use code to reduce security flaws in applications.

How to implement application security?

Creating a list of all assets that require protection. Identifying threats and how to isolate and contain them. Identifying attack vectors that put the application at risk of being compromised. Ensuring that it has the proper security measures in place in order to detect and prevent attacks.

What is application security life cycle?

Its final goal is to improve security practices and, through that, to find, fix, and preferably prevent security issues within applications. It encompasses the whole application life cycle from requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification as well as maintenance.

What are Application Security Risks? Attackers can potentially use many different paths through your application to do harm to your business or organization. Each of these paths represents a risk that may, or may not, be serious enough to warrant attention.
